De malolaktiske næringspræparater Nitriflore PDC og Nutriflora FML er meget vigtige næringsstoffer især ved vanskelig malolaktisk af sure hvidvine og specielt de ekstra sure grundvine til mousserende vinfremstilling
Msalolaktisk behandling af sure vine med pH<3.2 kan være særdeles vanskelige at udføre, og derfor bør altid inden tilsætning af malolaktiske kulturer fortages en omhyggelig flerdages reaktiverings- og adaptionsproces, hvor bakterierne skal tilpasses det barske sure miljø i still-vine (især nordiske hvidvine) og grundvine til mousserende vin.. Denne Starterkultur benævnes oftest som en PDC (Pied de Cuvée) kultur, idet den fortages på et nibdre volumen af 3-5% udtag af den vin, der skal MLF behandles. Brug altid søgefeltet for at finde frem til Nutriflore PDC produktet.
Der findes en specielt malolaktisk næringsprodukt kaldet Nutriflore PDC, som anvendes eksplicit i startkulturen., mens det er produkt omtalt her kaldet Nutroflore FML, der skal anvendes i selve vine der skal MLF behandles.

Af denne grund vælges oftest den serielle form for malolaktiongs behandling, der opstartes ved 1. gærings afslutning og inden kuldestabilisering, da en kuldestabilisering oftest føre til en yderlige nedsættelse af pH, ved at vinsyrens tartration udføælles sammen med kalium som vinsten, hvis frigør flere H+ ioner fra nydissociret vinsyre.

Bactiv-aid 2.0 – Product Information
Bactiv-aid 2.0 is a new mix of natural compounds and bacterial nutrients selected specifically to improve malolactic bacteria growth in wine.
Bactiv-aid 2.0 binds compounds that can be inhibitory to the bacteria and ensures that bacteria have sufficient supply of key nutrients.
Bactiv-aid 2.0 optimizes bacteria growth conditions ensuring faster and more successful malolactic fermentations without, any negative effect on wine aroma or flavors.
The formulation of Bactiv-aid 2.0 is a balanced mix of carefully selected inactivated yeasts providing bacteria:
• the necessary amount of nutrients
• essential trace elements – helping bacterial adaptation when inoculated into wineBactiv-aid 2.0 comes with an allergen free formulation.
Bactiv-aid 2.0 is recommended for use in all wines inoculated with Viniflora®. Adding Bactiv-aid 2.0 will ensure faster and cleaner malolactic fermentation in most wines.
By adding Bactiv-aid 2.0 you reduce the time needed for malolactic fermentation by up to 40 %. To achieve the full benefits of Bactiv-aid 2.0, it should always be added at the time of inoculation with malolactic cultures.
Bactiv-aid 2.0 is strongly recommended if your wine has one of the following characteristics:
- Highly clarified white wine
- Harsh inoculation conditions: high alcohol, low pH
- History of problematic malolactic fermentation
- Alcoholic fermentation completed more than 14 days ago
- Malolactic fermentation management known to be a concern with thegrape variety used – eg. Merlot or Chardonnay
- Malolactic fermentation management known to be a concern with theyeast used – e.g. yeast strain producing SO2.

Bactiv-aid 2.0 Product Information
By using Bactiv-aid 2.0 together with Viniflora® products, winemakers speed up malolactic fermentation in a similar way to the previous Bactiv-aid formulation containing casein. While with Bactiv-aid 2.0 casein has been removed, and therefore so has the allergenic status, performance has been kept consistent.
Instructions for use
Bactiv-aid 2.0 should be added to the wine at the time of inoculation with Viniflora® malolactic cultures.
Before adding Bactiv-aid 2.0 to the tank/barrel, mix the content of a pouch to lukewarm water. Secure absence of chlorine by using
mineral bottled water (chlorine kills bacteria).Mix the solution into wine.
Inoculate Viniflora® culture into the wine following the instructions related to your culture and your wine. Use at recommended dosage.

Bi‐Start Nutri promotes the supply of nutrients to MLF cultures and thereby guarantees the rapid onset of malolactic fermentation through active lactic acid bacteria. Dosage Use
Bi‐Start Nutri is a mixture of deactivated yeast components, rich in alpha‐amino nitrogen (amino acids), cell wall polysaccharides and cellulose.
It is recommended to add 20 g of Bi‐Start Nutri per 100 L wine.
Dissolve the contents of the Bi‐Start Nutri bag in hand‐warm water and add directly to the wine before inoculation with the bacteria culture. Stir carefully as required.Store in a cool, dry place. Packs which have been opened should be immediately tightly sealed and used within a few weeks.

OENOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS
NUTRIFLORE PDC is a natural lactic bacteria activator based on deactivated yeasts selected for their high level of growth factors.
NUTRIFLORE PDC activates bacterial enzymatic systems by providing the medium with the specific vitamins, minerals and amino acids needed as nutrients. The latter’s presence ensures an accelerated yeast starter solution process.What’s more, NUTRIFLORE PDC can also improve the growth and viability of lactic bacteria. Concentration: 25 g/100L (per 100 litres of starter solution).
Add the NUTRIFLORE PDC to the malolactic yeast starter solution at the same time as inoculating with lactic bacteria.
For best consistency, prepare as a suspension beforehand in a small quantity of water or wine.PROPERTIES
